About the Event
Attire Tips.
Dress to impress. No grimy street shoes. No backpacks. No gym clothes. Ladies can get away with a bit more or laxed look but men can be turned away for inappropriate or "street" attire. This is a Chicago nightlife club style venue so there is a dress code in full effect. You don’t have to wear a suit & tie or polished dress shoes persay but you will need to apply some effort.
Dining & Bar Tips.
Celeste has a pretty amazing kitchen for a River North nightlife location. Getting food early on the 1st and 2nd floor is sort of like an escape from the hustle and bustle. Based on your mood or preferences, there is a floor for you at Celeste. The 1st & 2nd floor carry a strong grown and sexy vibe. Classy booths, dim lighting and well dressed patrons makes this a cozy environment amongst the robust music and dancing. These floors typically attract an older and mature crowd. Move up to the hotter 3rd floor and you’ll find the Iconic "Disco" club. A true homage to the era, this floor is a disco stimulation experience. Finally at the top floor you’ll find the tropical rooftop getaway of Celeste. With a Tulum, Mexico style vibe and greenery everywhere. No one will blame you for getting lost up here. The best tactic is to be responsible and keep your tab on one floor with one bar. You can bring your drinks with you as you change floors. The staff has too much going on to carry your tab with you. Pick where you’d like to get your drinks from and save yourself the trouble of closing multiple tabs with each bar.
Parking & Transportation Tips
- If possible, avoid driving to Celeste. The parking is very limited. Pay keen attention to the street signs because cars will get towed immediately in this area. If you like to plan a couple hours ahead, spot hero has tons of garage spots available within walking distance. This is a solid option if bringing your car is a must.
- Rideshare is great. Be aware of nightlife primetime hours. Surge tax is applied to these areas. Rideshare is still one of the safest and most responsible options if you plan to drink. - If you prefer the CTA the brown line Merchandise Mart stop is a great choice that is walking distance from Celeste. The brown line stops operating around 11PM ish so don't count on it to get home late night. Secondly the Red line Grand stop is about the same walking distance. The Redline runs 24/7 so this is a great late night option for going home or getting closer to home and ridesharing for a cheaper cost the remainder of the way.
Network Tips
When you go on nights that have Stylin Out DJs or Stylin Out ally talent. You can casually (don’t be arrogant or pompous) walk up to the door staff and let them know you’re invited by the DJ performing. * See info details for the performing DJs *. This will get you past the line if there is one. If you are with a group of 6 or more it would be suggested to throw the bouncers a cash tip for letting you in above the line. Splitting into smaller groups and approaching the staff in separate requests is a strategy you can use as well.
